Zelda Cares

Do you have some extra-long work days, or are you leaving town but can’t take your (animal/plant) babies with you? I have lots of experience caring for all kinds of animals and plants, and can make house visits to make sure your babies get the care and attention they need while you’re away.

My rates depend on how much needs to be done, so send me an email describing everything that needs to happen during the house visit and I’ll reply with a quote!

Zelda Assists

Are you overwhelmed by the piles of papers on your desk? Do you or a loved one need assistance grocery shopping? I actually enjoy organizing things, and I love being helpful to those who need an extra hand getting things done. Whatever the task or need, describe it to me and I’ll let you know for sure if I can do it!

My standard rate is simple: $40 per hour, charged in 15-minute increments ($10 per 15 minutes).

Zelda Drives

Do you need a ride home from the airport? Does your grandfather need a ride to the doctor’s office? Do your kids need a ride to and from tennis class? I have done all these things! Booking is first-come-first-served, so the sooner you can confirm your dates/times, the more likely I’ll be available!

If the passenger needs assistance getting in and out of the car, I am perfectly comfortable helping them (and/or dealing with walkers or wheelchairs) – the important issue is whether it will be comfortable for them!

My standard rate is simple: $5 minimum charge; 40 cents per mile + 40 cents per minute. The miles and minutes start counting once the total surpasses $5.

IMPORTANT: I currently drive a Toyota Prius C (a small hatchback). It technically seats 5, but it is little! So groups of people and lots of big luggage will not be ideal. The back seats do fold down, so if there is luggage but just one passenger, then it will work fine! Groups of children also fit more comfortably than adults.

Zelda Coaches

Are you learning a new musical instrument/skill/piece, or do you have a performance or audition coming up? Do you not have the time or the money for a long-term weekly commitment of regular music lessons? I am happy to help you achieve your goals one coaching session at a time! We can meet in-person at my studio or online via Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet, WhatsApp, or Skype.

My one-on-one coaching rate is simple:
a dollar a minute!
($60/hour, $30/half hour, $45/45 minutes, etc).

I also coach groups, and group coachings are really fun! This is particularly helpful if you are new to playing in a group or with an accompanist. Due to the complexity of group playing, I only do group coachings in-person, not online.

Group coaching rates are $30/person/hour.
For example:
2 students for 1 hour costs $60.
3 students for a half hour costs $45.
4 students for an hour costs $120.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings, including the standard weekly one-on-one lessons at public schools, private schools, music studios, and my own home studio. But my performance career has consumed more and more of my time, and in my ever-changing schedule no two weeks look alike, so I am no longer able to keep up with weekly lesson commitments.
